From the street theatres of Dar-es-Salaam in Tanzania, a group of local boys trained tirelessly to refine their art of traditional Tanzanian acrobatics and become the Afrikan Warriors.

The name was derived from their great-grandfathers who fought for independence and climbed to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro to plant the Tanzanian Flag in celebration of their freedom.

The Afrikan Warriors have performed more than 2000 shows, bringing the spirits of their warrior ancestors to life through pulsating music, explosive energy and some mind-blowing acrobatics.
